All you needed was a layer, a disc and a driver and you're set. Yeah, the customization choices back then were perfectly acceptable.
The ripfire drivers also just mess up my flow because everytime I want to get to the Stamina drivers from the Attack drivers, I either have to scroll through the Hypersphere stuff for the millionth time or have the ripfire drivers and discs screw up my colored discs. I just want my mediocre outclassed parts already, why can't there be a simple and effective menu I can scroll through to get the parts I actually want? Why do I have to tediously mash a small digital white arrow to scroll through the Hypersphere drivers just to get to one Stamina driver. I swear I've seen the entire lineup of Hypersphere drivers 100 times already just trying to get to Survive. You have to slowly and tedious mash through every single part in order just to find the Nothing driver.
It's really tedious to scroll through all of your parts just to build the custom combo you actually want.
It's also a fairly decent battle simulator if you don't have any friends to actually blade with. Also, the app-exclusive recolors are pretty nice too. There's a huge section dedicated to Hasbro QR codes in the Beyblade wiki, so you can just download the app and get to scanning. The fact that you finally have a way of collecting all of your favorite Beyblades without going into debt or selling your soul is really nice. The only thing they add with each new season is just whatever gimmicks Hasbro decided to barf onto the Beyblades converted into in-app fun for the whole family. You can't swap out the chips and layers, there's no special app-exclusive chip or layer recolors. There's no customization for Rise and Surge Beyblades. But, with the evolution of Beyblade Burst over the years, the app is still lagging behind.
Perfect for bladers with no friends, like me! Best part about those codes is they can be scanned by an infinite amount of people so all you have to do is get a hi-res pic of the code and boom, everyone with a phone can have that Beyblade in their digital beylocker. Ever just flip your layers over for no reason whatsoever and suddenly see a black and white tumor inside the slopes? Yeah, you can scan those in the Beyblade Burst app and unlock those Beyblades digitally. No, not Beyblade Burst Rivals, the Beyblade Burst app. Huh, still better than the chip holes at least.Īh, the Beyblade Burst app.
